Next, contact your cable broadband provider to activate. The status indicator LEDs on the front of the DPQ3212 provide an informative troubleshooting tool in the event of connectivity issues, as well as an easy way to stay informed about the status of your connection.

The DPQ3212 requires an existing cable account. If you don't have an existing cable account, contact your local cable provider to sign up for broadband Internet service. This modem will not work with DSL service.
